Some examples of school equipment refurbishments that have the benefit of our powder coating services. 

These "before and after" pictures show how Korokoro School in Lower Hutt saved considerably on a playground redevelopment. Well-used steel play equipment frames were made to look like new again at a fraction of replacement cost.

The process involved sandblasting, a suitable zinc phosphate metal pre-treatment, and a two-coat quality powder coated finish of zinc shield and top-coat colours selected by the school community.

A similar project undertaken by Tawhai School, Stokes Valley also benefited from treatment and re-finishing in our powder coating workshop. This is an example of how the modern powder-coating technology we use every day breathes new life and added durability into existing school equipment that is otherwise perfectly serviceable. The evidence is clear, judging by the fun these young students are getting out of their as-new playground.
