AWL-National Archives project
The AWL-National Archives project, completed on July 31, 2024, involved the application of Electro Anodised-Look range powder coating to extruded aluminium components, including windows, louvres, doors, cladding, and decorative sheets. The chosen finish with Electro Fresh Gold Kinetic Flat, Duratec Eternity Metropolis Coal Dust Kinetic® and Duratec Zeus Black Matt provide an elegant, metallic aesthetic while offering enhanced durability for exterior applications.
Fabricated by Thermosash Commercial Ltd, this project utilized Powder Coating Services, an accredited Dulux powder coater, ensuring the application met the stringent warranty specifications for commercial and architectural aluminium.
The project is backed by an Alumi Shield™ Commercial Project Warranty, offering protection for perforated and expanded aluminium surfaces applied in various environments. The total coated area for the project was 573 square meters, and the warranty was issued on July 18, 2024, ensuring the longevity and performance of the finish.
This project demonstrates the superior quality and resilience of the Electro Anodised-Look range, providing both aesthetic appeal and practical benefits for exterior architectural applications, with resistance to environmental wear, corrosion, and fading.
